Human Resources / Payroll Manager

The HR/PR Manager plays a key role in driving business performance outcomes linked to employee performance, development & retention.  This position is part of the management team and would be involved in all aspects of on boarding, employee relations, policy & procedures, compensation, performance & career management, professional development, departures, benefits and recruitment.  Job scope will also include coordination and submission of bi-weekly payroll.

Professional Qualifications and Requirements

  • University or College Degree
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Human Resources, with progressive responsibility
  • CHRP Designation or working towards CHRP Designation
  • An in depth understanding of the critical role human resource management plays in successful business strategy implementation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Management style based on integrity, ethics, honesty and open communication
  • Ability to work effectively with the management team and provide leadership,  guidance, policy development and coaching on all aspects of human resource management
  • Continued professional & personal development activities to remain current with human resource trends and practices, payroll and benefits
  • High level of energy with a desire to get things done
  • Must be able to set priorities and manage several tasks concurrently
